Yeah I think it sounds like you're pregnant, if you're scared or nervous to be around people for a test then i suggest you make a private appointment with your doctor for one. There's nothing to be scared of there are other women who are or have been pregnant.Sometimes it helps to talk about it with someone at the same stage as you are (like a pregnacy group). If you regulary get a light period then I don't think that your pregnant, but if you usually get a heavier one then it's possible you are pregnant. But every women is different so period usually vary in amount of blood and pain.ANd one more thing, are you scared because once your a mother there's no turning back? Or are you embarrased to be buying a pregnancy test?Good Luck and Best wishes =]

Muster up the courage and go buy that preggo test. Don't be frightened about what the people around you think. As a matter of fact, they probably aren't looking at you one way or another. It's just that you're paranoid and scared.
Go get that test and put your mind at ease. If this has scared you in the least bit, I'd think twice before having sex again. If you aren't ready to be a parent, then either abstain from sex until you are or practice safe sex!!
***EDIT to your additional details.....I think at 17 you are still very young to be having children but not too young to think about what it would be like to have a baby in your future, say 5-6 years down the line, when you have a steady husband, job, security, and the financial means. It really doesn't matter when you take the test, your urine doesn't know if it's morning or night. On average a pregnancy test costs around $10!!! Quit working yourself up....relax! Get the test and take it, stressing yourself out doesn't help. I know you are scared but you need to know the truth.***

The scary part of all of this is that you are possibly pregnant and to afraid to buy a pregnancy test. Do you think if you are pregnant that its going to be any easier on you? If you were so afraid of taken grown up steps in your life, then why not use some kind of protection? Oh let me guess, you were to scared to buy the condoms as well, right?

If there is any chance you are pregnant then you definitely need to find out, as soon as possible. Proper pre-natal care needs to be started as early as possible to ensure that you and the baby have a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth experience. You can get a test done at a clinic, your dr's office or you can buy one and do it yourself at home. But be sure to do it! Your embarrassment over buying a test is so small compared to the necessity of taking care of you and the baby. Good luck!

Yes, I can help. Get the dang test. Hold your breath if you have to.
Who cares what the other people think?
You should not in the least.
Your taking care of yourself by buying a test.
Your health is important. Remember that as you get it.
If it is negative seek the doc you may have a flu bug or something.

When I got pregnant I was the same way. My friend ended up going with me and buying it for me. If you have someone that can go, take them with you. If not, just bite the bullet and take the test. It's the only way to know for sure. I'd recommend getting one of the digital ones that says "Pregnant" or "Not pregnant". Good luck!

The only way you're going to know for sure -- is to take a test. And if you're too ashamed to buy a pregnancy test, then you're probably not ready to be having sex.
Good luck.

No I don't.
Perhaps one of your friends can buy your test for you and then you can do it.
You need to find out, stressing about possible pregnancy is worse than dealing with an actual pregnancy.
