i would not think that they would work out at all, as your being intimate with another, eventually one of u is going to fall in love with someone else, and the marriage will be over with. anytime one gives something away meant only for the person u married it means your really not satisfied with what u have, and actually looking for something else. when u have relations with others u can easily fall in love with them, in a lustful way.

If you're going to have an open marriage, why get married in the first place?
I would say that open marriage isn't a good idea. Eventually you will develop strong feeling for someone else.

Independent research show it to be emotionally dysfunctional to family life and could cause children to have security and trust issues later down the line with relationships!

And relationships with parent's when they become aware of the open marriage! I got first hand knowledge on that one with sister child who know live with us.!
Stay away from that poisonous snake!

depends on the situation. the relationship has to be a strong one to begin with and each partner has to be committed to the "lifestyle". there are a lot of couples situations that are acceptable to both partners.

biggest word of advise is honesty it's not only the best policy, it's a marriage saver.
