If you feel strongly about it, just call the teacher, "Dick."
Grow up and accept the consequences society imposes upon you.
It will be a learning lesson as to what real life is all about.
I dislike when kids, who want to be grown ups, act like grown ups--INSIST THEY ARE GROWN UPS; yet, they don't want to accept the consequences for their actions like grown ups.
Good Luck....
If this happened in my class, I would just laugh it off, possibly agree with you, or maybe slam you against the wall!

So a kid called a teacher dick? Are YOU a teacher? Discuss the problem with the principal, or is it against the ACLU to send a bad-mannered, bad-mouthed child to the principal nowadays?
If any of my children said such a thing, I would certainly hope I would be contacted abou it, because my child would then have to write an apology to the teacher, and write me a 500 word essay on why it's best to use proper English rather than slang to get a point across.

Very easily apparently. Name-calling is an intention to express anger at someone. Some students do this because it is a desire for attention, or a sign of basic disrepect. Different teachers will respond differently to such behaviour, either negatively, leading to some kind of punishment or upgrading of the situation, or maturely, because of an understanding of the student's anger or desire for attention. Either way it is completely inappropriate to call anyone names: it's a clear sign of a problem that needs to be addressed.

Are you saying the teacher's name is Richard and the student called him Dick? That's what I got out of the question.

i wouldn't recommend calling them names but instead just being a smart-alec or a back talker. If you get in trouble for cursing, you most likely can't get out of it. But, if you are talking back you can say the teacher was yelling at, embarrassing, or completely disrespecting you and you could get out of it while get the teacher in trouble. I know teachers are your elders and you should respect your elders, but everyone deserves some respect even from teachers

Anything can happen when there is no discipline and respect. Kid should get suspended at least. Schools are scared of the parents these days when they need to make the kid scared of the parents and teachers.

Well, there is no excuse for that. Teachers are supposed to be professionals, and thus they should act like such. I would file a formal complaint.

I would recommend you NOT do anything like that. IN my opinion and from my experience, it is HIGHLY un professional for one to do such things.
