read newspapers , start saving [without asking for a loan ]
this democratic sociaties have no measure but age that signifies the transition cleanly but it could be when the move into thier own place
or get married , but having kids of thier own reveals the adult most clearly
it is so different in a western sociaty there is no real adult world as such ,manny seiniour citisens are as irrisponsable as teen agers ,some kids are grown up before they are teens
this is too general a question [man/woman are so vairiable] that no one answer could possably apply
in my fifties i still dont ''feel'' grown up
