you should probably check a cheat or faq site:

go to www.gamefaqs.com and search for the game.

go into the future (make sure there's money in your bank)
you can get up to 99,999 maximum every time you do this
don't go too far or a mole will become angry with you (*cough,cough*) (and turn in the HULK!!!!!!)
you can also get surprises from Nookington's and the Lost and Found

...but there are
lots of other
cheats.for
example,hit
all the rocks
in your town
with a golden
shovel and
then walk into
nook's and
tom nook will
be wearing
his pajamas!

There aren't really cheats, but shake all your trees without fruit, and sometimes they drop money or items that you can sell back to Nook!
