I can only be me

GOD created everyone differently and no one is the same
We must make the best of what were given and never place a blame
People try to change themselves from the gifts that they were given
Doing this for wrong reasons and I hope they'll be forgiven

When it comes down to me I know I am unique
Different from others for this I truly speak
There is no one in the world exactly like me
My heart, my soul, are special for this you will agree

I know I am not perfect but feel so very blessed
That I was created different and have a special quest
For all that it comes down to is I can just be me
People are all given gifts that I wish they all could see

I can only be me

Who can I be?
This poem won't get a C
At best it might get a D
I paid my licensing fee
Because I'm down wid dat, G
I told my dad and then he
Took away my house key
And kicked my face like Jet Li
And broke my left and right knee
Yes, si, uh huh, ja and oui
It hurts so bad when I pee
My eyes are blurred I can't see
My glass of Lipton Iced Tea
Or my flat screen TV
This life I would like to flee
But I can only be me

I AM ME by Virginia Satir

I am me.
In all the world, there is no one exactly like me.
There are persons who have some parts like me,
but no one adds up exactly like me.

Therefore, everything that comes out of me
is authentically mine because I alone choose it.
I own everything about me
including everything it does;
including all its thoughts and ideas;
including the images of all they behold;
whatever they may be...
anger,
joy,
frustration,
love,
disappointment,
excitement
and all the words that come out of it
polite,
sweet or rough,
correct or incorrect;
loud or soft.
And all my actions, whether they be to others or to myself.

I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears.
I own all my triumphs and successes,
all my failures and mistakes.
Because I own all of me I can become intimately acquainted with me.
By doing so I can love me and be friendly with me in all parts.
I can then make it possible for all of me to work in my best interests.

I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me,
and other aspects that I do not know.
But as long as I am friendly and loving to myself,
I can courageously and hopefully, look for solutions to the puzzles
and for ways to find out more about me.

However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think
and feel at a given moment in time is me.
This is authentic and represents where I am in that moment in time.
When I review later how I looked and sounded, what I said and did, and how I
thought and felt, some parts may turn out to be unfitting.
I can discard that which is unfitting, and keep that which proved fitting,
And invent something new for that which I discarded.

I can see, hear, feel, think, say and do.
I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive,
and to make sense and order out of the world of people
and things outside of me.
I own me, and therefore I can engineer me.

OR

Me I Am !

I am the only Me I Am
Who qualifies as me,
no Me I AM has been before,
and none will ever be
No other Me I Am can feel
the feelings I' ve within,
no other Me I Am can fit
precisely in my skin
There is no other Me I Am
who thinks the thoughts I do,
the world contains one Me I Am
this earth shall ever see,
that Me I Am I always am
is no one else but Me!

I can only be me

Water is soft....yet so Hard!
Satisfy the garden/ yet drench the yard..
and in doing so all it says is...
I can only be me.
Water is bad and water is good...
One thing about water....It's Misunderstood!
and in the water flow and the ripples it screams!!!
I can only be me.
I met you in the river of life.
Tides go in and tides go out,
Sometides tides can cut like a knife.
I know your hurt and before you SHOUT.........

I CAN ONLY BE ME

I can only be me,
Nothing better to be.
I will wear a smile,
And laugh for awhile.
Go ahead and try,
Reach up to the sky.
Like a Spring morn',
Joy will be reborn.

gove me a few minutes.~
I will write you one....

I- can only be me
What I see is what I see
I have no choice but to be
And I can only be me

You can only be you
You see your own view
There is nothing you can do
You can only be you

And I is I
And we might not see eye to eye
And I don’t know enough about you
To write a poem that’s really true…

ha ha- it sucks- sorry- good luck

It can only be me...
To make it richous
Or to make it free...

With apple of Newton
Wonder fall from a tree..
Or maybe Putin
Breeding Russian flea's

Oh Jeeeeese...
Oh Je-e-e-eeeeese...

Why Meeeeee?
Why Me-e-e-eeeee?

I...
Don't ...

Inside of me
I live, I breath
I can only be me
I see differently
To me,
I am me
And I can only be me

hope this helps

I can only be me
I sure hope you can see
That I'm the only one I can be
I may not be perfect but I'm still me
________________________________

I hope that's a good start for you. Sorry, its not one of my best works but it is a little tricky writing for someone else.
