Dude, if you found a cure to cancer, Harvard Med would be a cakewalk for you. I think the better question would be "If I found a cure for cancer, will I get the Nobel Prize in Medicine?"

There are many different types of cancers, with many different causes. In the lab, it'll probably take years (or even a lifetime) to put everything together (and get your experiments to work). Assuming you find a cure for one type of cancer, you'll have a lot of lab experience and possibly your own funding for an M.D./Ph.D., making you a very desirable candidate. Especially since you wouldn't have access to such independent lab experience unless you're already in (or beyond) graduate school, or you're an enormously lucky lab tech. Since you'd have a Bachelor's degree anyway, you'd just need to make sure you do decently on your MCATs.

Only if you pay them lots of money (outside of tuition), so pretty much you're the same as any other student.
