Convoy is the be all end all of trucker movies
(Burt Young who played Uncle Paulie in the Rocky films drives a truck with the company logo of "Paulie Hauling")
Any Which Way You Can and it's sequel Any Which Way But Loose
Smokey & the Bandit 1 & 2
Steel Cowboy
Deadhead Miles
and of course!
Breaker! Breaker! starring Chuck Norris
The Road Warrior starring Mel Gibson (hauling a tanker truck in the last part of the film through steroid mad punk rockers with guns)
Hell Driver old 50's action film starring a trucker.

Spielberg's Duel (his first feature film)
First broadcast in 1971, the protaganist played by Dennis Weaver is pursued by a monstrous tanker truck piloted by a faceless driver who tries to run his small Valiant off the road. It was immediately recognized as a taut, well-made thriller, and cemented Spielberg's emerging reputation. In later interviews, Spielberg said that tale of being stalked by a monster would inspire his work with Jaws.

Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run(only the originals, the sequels weren't nearly as good)come to mind, Burt Reynolds at his best, and Every Which Way But Loose.

You could watch the movie Joy Ride because it's all about a crazy semi-truck driver...and it's got Paul Walker which is a total plus!!

I was going to say "Black Dog". But I watched that movie for a dog, really.
Same with "number 23". The movie sucked, but the dog rocked.

Maximum Overdrive was okay and Duel. I liked Duel more than maximum overdrive but they were both good if your into action movies.
