Dell latitude L S screen is white, what should I try??Changed the inverter board ,could it be the viedo cable?or is the screen bad ?any help ,thank you in advance.

do you have an external monitor handy? I suggest you hook one up so you can rule out a hardware issue like the graphic card gone bad.
does the display work in safe mode?
download the latest drivers make sure they are WHQL (signed by microsoft and card manufacturer)

I had the same problem with a Compaq Armada that got smashed at the airport.
The cable interface has been damaged, I was able to disassemble this connection and re solder the connector, however its very tiny and tedious.

check the brightness settings....
they could be the problem :)
