yeah, wait till your at least 16 seriously. Before you ignore, I'm not one of those "at 14 you just a kid wait till you married or with your life partner" people.

I just think at 14 your not ready, it might feel right but trust me when your older you may and probably will regret not waiting that tiny bit longer. I thought I was in love before..but god was I wrong and thank god i didn't loose it to that guy..

Pretty much my last bf(I'm 15 1/2 now) and I were going out for a yr and he was perfect, i mean did nothing wrong, we never fought he was never rude, perfect gentleman and knew exactly what to do to make me happy especially when I was upset. know it sounds corny but I just knew I loved him. Anyways it came to the "big day" and well I gota bit nervous even though we had talked about it a bit and done other things before so it wasn't like a huge leap forward. We didn't end up doing it and because of that we had a HUGE fight, I dumped him and I haven't talked to him since.

Now I know how right I was to not go there and how much of a huge mistake I would have made. I think you should wait a while, but that's my opinion. I think 14 is too young and that's coming from some one who was pretty mature at 14.

Yes, that is too young. I was 16.5 when i conceived my son who is now 7 years old. I wish that I would have waited to do things like that, but I cant change the past. My dream when I was little was to go to college, meet my future husband and THEN start a family. When u r 14, u are not old enough to work, so how would u pay for things that the baby would need? In my personal opinion, 14 is a little too young. You have your whole life to have kids, take time to be a kid yourself. If u do want to have sex, then i would use a condom.

look u're 14 years old do you really want to take the risk of getting pregnant? Where your parents can kick you out of the house where you will have to spend your nights and weekends taking care of a baby? Or where you can catch an STD or HIV? Don't do it you're too young wait a couple of years and make sure that you really love that person becuase you might regret it later on. If he insists he dosen't love you becuase he isn't thinking about you first. It dosen't matter if hes the most sweetest person to you cuz many guys will treat you like a princess just to sleep with you.

Yes, you are too young! And I don't want to sound mean but how do you know what love is at 14? I was 18 and thought I was in love. I didn't find real love until I was 21. Enjoy being a teenager and save yourself for the right guy, at the right time. At least wait until you are 18 and out of high school. You'll have the rest of your life to have sex but you are only a teen once. Just because a guy says he loves you, doesn't mean he does. Most guys will tell you anything you want to hear to get you in bed...trust me on this!! Most guys want a girl who will stand up for herself and respect herself and her body.
I was young once too but I am now married and I see what guys will say and do to get a girl in bed and then it's over.

Here we are again listening to people saying things about how stupid teenagers are, "raging hormones"? have you heard that before? well i'm 15 and i still havn't had sex. But you know, i really don't care if i do or not, and i don't go out and persue it, that's a sign of maturity. Normally, i'd be on your side because we're both teenagers being looked down on because of our age, but i agree with one of the answers that if you are still calling sex "doing it" you are too young, because it shows you aren't mature enough. Love doesn't mean sex. And is it your idea or your bf's idea to have sex? If it's your bf, most likely he's just going out with you to have sex. You should give him a good slap in the face for not thinking about you and just his own pleasure. Guys our age, we can't help but think about sex, it's natural for mammals to do so. You're mind has been clouded by TV and movies, telling you that sex is the thing to do, and to dress like a slut. I'm more attracted to conservative girls. I don't want to make this too long, or else you'll start to think this is nonsense. You could have sex at any age it really doesn't matter. To sum it up, it has NOTHING to do with your AGE, it's your level of MATURITY.

Once you lose it you can never ever get it back again...think about it!

You are way too young and will most likely have many other boyfriends in the future that you feel the same way about.

Take your time, there is no rush..i think that your very mature to ask this question rather then just jump into it!

All the best to you.

I did it 17 after dating my boyfriend for a year.
14 in my opinion is really young. Just wait it out, I think that because you're asking us you know its too young and you want reassurance. It's too young hunny, you're only in grade eight or nine. Imagine God forbid, you got pregnant. At 14? That would be terrible. Don't do it. Not yet.

Yes, 14 is too young. You aren't committed to each other seriously. You need to wait. If you do it now, then you won't have any pleasure in the future. Wait. You will regret it.

As a parent of a 14 yr old DD...I have to say Yes. Not because I don't want her to do it but she is NOT developed...your body is NOT ready, emotionally you are not ready.
And think really, what if you get pregnant??? put these things in order.
1. school
2. life
3. friends
4. money
5. parents
6. freedom
7. your body
8. knowing he is going to stay around if you do get pregnant, or even if you just have sex and get lucky not to get pregnant
9. your self respect
10. YOUR self worth!

Having sex is NOT that important. YOU have a LONG LONG time to have all the sex you want right now, go out with your girlfriends ...go shopping...but that is the lowest thing you need to be thinking of right now!

I waited until I was 16 and even then I believe I was too young. Wait a while longer. If he really loves you he'll wait too. It's more special if you wait, plus, condoms aren't 100% effective.
