my friendshas a restraining order against him by his wife. The only time he can be near his wife is during visitation drop offs or his kid and they are not allowed to talk about anything but about the kid. One day he picked up his kid at the coffee shop. My friend and his wife both left. my friendreturned to the coffee shop moments later with his kid to order something, she returns to the shop and gets in line directly behind him at the coffee shop to order something. my friend has not been talking to her out of fear of violating the order. why is she doing this if there is a restraining order against my friend? The restraining order has been for 8 months.

Personally it's a rather ridiculous attempt at making him violate the order. Interesting thing is he can call a violation in on her! This order isn't just for him! It's for her too. He needs to investigate all the steps necessary to call this in. Then try to streamline it to the correct people. This way next time it happens, he can call someone to take a picture of her, and then smack her with the violation. I would love to see her eyes when she get clobbered with a non-compliance fine!

she is probably trying to get him to respond in public hostillyto add to the restraining order. He should be careful of her blowing something up into something it is not. My friend went through this too. She used to kick the crap out of him. He was a bigger man but she was bi-polar and played everything against him. They always believe the women in these situations. WARNING! sucks to be a good guy in this situation
