Yes! They totally fluff up the laundry. Downside, you don't get that april-fresh scent. Upside, saving the planet :)

I look at them, see the price (15.00 for set of 2) and then see that they are sold on TV. That's enough for me right there, no more TV gimmicks. I'm all for helping with the go green effort and I bet I can one up most of you here because I take the bus to work every day even though I have a car. I use liquid fabric softener, have for years and plan on continuing with it. I buy mine at a health store, it is made by a company called Jason. They have many products that are worth having a look at.

I have heard that they are good with larger items like comforters. I went to the laundromat/laundry service place that we have in our town and the attendant there was using regular tennis balls!

Hope this helps :)

Using an umbrella clothes dryer helps more, actually, but liquid fabric softener is needed. www.seventhgen.com is a site with more info.

Oh, those, I thought you meant tennis balls for fluffing comforters and coats. Never tried dryer balls.

Yes, throwing a ball in the washer rubs the dirt and stuff out of the clothing. They do work well. And save you too!

They work fabulously. I love mine and would never be without them in my laundry room again.
