dude the psp is awsome and you can play real great games with real good graphics i have one and its awsome you dont have to mes around with that little piece of junk circle thang and the psp has a giant screen that you can actually see because if you get a video ipod its like watching a movie on your phone on the psp its like watching a movie on one of those head rest screens the in cars ya its that big of a difference.
but i guess it comes down to is that what are you going to be using it for the most because the psp can play video of all types and is a mp3 player and a photo viewer and a great gaming system . the ipod can just play movies and and music . plus i hear that sony is going to have pod casts for the psp if you like that type of thang any wase i thank go with the psp cuse the ipod is over rated

i have a psp and my brother has an ipod and i think that a psp is better because you can get on the Internet,play games, put music on there and stuff like that.put an ipod id better in some ways because it is smaller and might be cheaper because with a psp you have to but memory sticks that cost up to $50 so i would go with an ipod.

PSP, of course. you've got MP3 player in the PSP, video player, internet connection (wifi..), and of course, the games you can play with it. it has the same things as the iPod, AND more. howver, if u just wanna listen to music, go directly to the iPod... its a waste of money to buy sth u r not gonna use. PSP is a GREAT console if u like playing video games, with great graphics and games catalog. i recommend it.

PSP, you can put videos, music and pictures on it, play games and movies, and go on the internet. I choose PSP.

It depends on what you want to do...
If you want to store tons of video go with the ipod. screen is smaller but you can store hours of video for trips and whatnot.
The PSP has the larget screen (and it's wide) but storage is horrible for video. You'd need to have a lot of sticks on you if you want to keep a ton of videos on you for long trips. (unless someone came out with some way of attaching a drive to it)
For tons of videos and TV episodes (about 100 movies depending on your ipod size and movie resolution) i'd opt for the iPod.. if i wanted to play games with an occasional movie i'd get the PSP.
And to clarify, you can put your own mp3s on the ipod. (as well as your own videos) mp need to buy from itunes store.
