I am the only one that con play the guitar, should I ask random people to be in my band?

You can do auditions! That'd be so much fun. Maybe post some flyers around school that you're looking for bandmates.
I'm sure there are some more musically talented people around you, but you don't even know it.

No. Start a band with people that can play. Friends are nice, but if they can't play it'll take forever. Invite friends to your gigs with your NEW friends that can actually play.
Place an ad in your school paper or a local music store. Find people your own age and playing ability.
I've been in many bands, and believe me..its ALOT more fun when your group plays at the same level.
My 12 yr old son is starting a band. I gave him this same advice and he didn't believe me. Tonight is the first night he has kids his age here that can play on his level.

Ask random people if they play guitar or drums to be in your band since you only have one person who plays guitar right now.

Yes. Random people will become your friends if they all play well and want to play together. Don't feel guilty about your friends, either. They should understand, if they are true friends, that you need to be in a different band.

Pick some friends and take them to get music lessons. (Hopefully they will let you)
