the instruction from the magazin are to make sure i got10-15gb free space insert the dvd and reboot the computer after that i should be greeted by a text menu[GRand Unified Bootloader]and allows you to boot Linux or Windows,but every time i try i get only windows to boot no text message.Can anybody please help me and tell me what i have to do.

I posted a link below to some help. It could be that your boot priority is in the wrong order. It may be configured to boot the hard drive before the CD. You can try to change the boot order by going into the BIOS setup and changing it to boot the CD first. The help link below should help you do that.
