e amchine is a brand like hp, compaq, sony, toshiba, gateway and dell etc. moost of them do make both desktops and laptop computers. desktop is a pc that you usually dont carry around with you that much stays in the house as your personal computer. Laptops are the portable computers. I hope this helped.

e-machine is like a compaq or an hp or a dell. Name brand. Just not as well known as the others I listed.

e-Machine is a cheap brand of desktop computer, desktop computer simply means that its a regular computer i.e. not a laptop. e-Machines is just a brand name
