No you don't need them at all - you go to school to study.
Pass all those exams and get a good job. Use of proxies is banned by your school and is against your schools IT policy, which could result in you being banned from Internet use and even expulsion from school.
proxies are also unsafe - they contain virus and other malicious software.
The bottom line is these sites are blocked for a reason.

Accessing unauthorized web sites through proxy web sites is a violation of the school's computer usage policy. You can be suspended and/or banned from using school computers. Use the school computers for school work and myspace will be there waiting when you get home. By the way do you really want your teachers and school administrators know what you are posting on myspace?
