Question

on my ipod i have like all pop, rap, or hip-hop songs. i do hav some rock,b ut its not true rock. Can anybody giv me good rock songs that i will like, and they can be any type of rock preferably up to beat rock songs. I hav been listening to pop songs 4EVER, and i just wanna add some rock. thanx a lot!!!

Try some Urge Overkill, Dinosaur Jr., or Buffalo Tom. These are all 90's alternative bands. They have great rock sound but are off beat even for people who think they know rock. Go first for Supersonic Storybook by Urge Overkill. Rock is such a huge category that you may need to be more specific as to what you mean. I'd also reccomend Reverend Horton Heat, the Lucky 7's album, and anything by Walt Mink. If you want girl rock bands then go with Belly or Throwing Muses. California Rock? Try Fu Manchu or At The Drive In ( The Mars Volta) If you want some rockin Pop try The Pernice Brothers, Death Cab for Cutie, and Marcy Playground. You can also go to AMG.com and enter the names of Rock bands you know and look for related bands and influences. From there the possibilities are endless.

well...if you like pop music, and you like rock music...try going back a few years and listen to some pop punk from the late 90's/early 2000's...early blink 182, the ataris, the offspring. me first and the gimme gimmes are a cover band you may like...they play famous new and old pop songs in a punk rockish way.
