How do I write one??? Could you give an example??

Perfectly. Grammar, spelling, punctuation - check, check, and double check. Address it TO the hiring manager, and spell their name correctly (also get their gender correct - I can't tell you the number of letters I've received which somehow assigned me to a different gender.)

A quick example:

Dear Ms. Doe,

Please accept this letter and enclosed resume for consideration for the position of X, which was advertised on Y. ABC Industries is a company I want to work for because.....

My skills are an excellent match for your requirements because.......

My qualifications for this position can best be explored in a personal interview. I will look forward to hearing from you so that we can explore how my skills can best benefit ABC Company.
