Sell Mary Kay or Arbonne. Both are great. Mary Kay gives you the best pay rate--you make 50% of whatever you sell, but both are excellent products.

There are some work from home opportunities out there, but it depends on where you live (town size etc) Sometimes you have to create your own. I know you said you cannot afford to make baskets, but this "basket idea" does not require any start up money because you get paid before you actually deliver anything. Your only investment is your time and a telephone line to make contacts. Something that is kind of fun, doesn't bring in a lot of money to start (but it will grow over time) and works best in a town of 25,000 or more is to deliver Welcome Baskets to people moving into your town. Contact local businesses and ask if they have premiums (like keychains, coffee mugs, pens, etc) or coupons they would like placed in a basket and delivered to new residents in your community. You can charge minimal amounts from each business and still get $15-$25 for each basket. The more businesses you contact the more stuff in your basket. Flower shops will sometimes really discount flower that are close to wilting but still pretty to make your basket nice, churches often want to add information, chamber of commerce has info on emergency and merchant info (the chamber will also give you a list of their members and they are great to contact for goodwill advertising) If there is a major motel in your area they will also sometimes purchase these baskets to put in a guests room that is staying for several days considering relocation to your area. Let your imagination run wild and have fun making money and sharing smiles along the way.

I'm also a mother of 2. Last year I decided to start my own health and wellness business with Arbonne that would allow me the time and financial freedom to be home with my family and do the things that we've always wanted. I share proprietary health and wellness products through network marketing, which channels goods or services from the manufacturer to the consumer through a "network" of independent distributors or Consultants.

This business has allowed me to be home with my children while providing financial security for my family. We are secure and stable (been in business 27 years), debt free with a low $29 start up cost, no territories to limit growth, NO INVENTORY, no sales requirements, unlimited income potential, free online training, online support, online and toll free ordering with direct shipping to your consumers, committed leadership, Mercedes Benz car program, free trips and vacations, and with the MOST GENEROUS COMPENSATION plan in the industry. You can also will your business to your family and create a legacy. We have four levels of management with the last level averaging $31,000 a month and everyone having an equal opportunity to move all the way up to the top (I promise no scams!). A lot of people feel that it's just too good to be true. But I'm living proof that its real.

If you love networking and sharing, this might be a great option for you as well. We're about building relationships and sharing an opportunity. It's fun and rewarding! Check it out! Good luck! :-)

If you're interested in learning more, I'll be happy to help you.

I work part-time at home on my computer. There are many excellent ways to make money online at home. You can make money with your computer by selling other people's products by being an affiliate marketer. Are you good at writing? You can build content based websites around a subject you are into and make money by placing Google Ads on your site. Everytime someone clicks on these ads you will make a percentage of the advertisers bid on them.

You can also look into network marketing. If you are good with people and very social this could be a very lucrative business for you. You make money by building a network of distributors to sell products which can range from pet care to cleaning stuff.

I didn't know anything about working at home or internet marketing until I found this website:

It combines the best of affiliate and network marketing and now I have a fully functional online business that pulls in profits 24 hours a day and it can be operated on a shoe-string budget.

You should also head on over to Direct Matches and sign up for free to post a business profile. You can find many like-minded people who are also looking for home work and maybe they can suggest something for you if this is not what you are looking for.

network marketing can be your best solution. However, you must follow these 5 basic principles in order to succeed in your business.

They are:

1. Attitude and Knowledge
2. Goals and Goal Setting
(Know your WHY before you start setting goals or this will be a waste of time)
3. Retailing
4. Prostecting and Recruiting
5. Following up with your prospects

Well I really love what I do. I work in the health care field for a really great company. They offer a 401k plan, benefits and full training and support. It is mostly work on the computer. There are no sales involved and I feel really good about what I do because I get to help people and make a living doing it. It is great to be a full time mom and be able to support my family as well. I would be happy to share details if it sounds like a good fit.
