logitech webcams are absolutely amazing and the ones built for laptops specifically clip onto the top of the laptop. they're fantastic really. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlist/US/EN,crid=2203,categoryid=17

A logitech webcam would be great for both laptops and desktop computers...
