I hate to answer a question with a question, but first: How much is it worth to HIM? The sculpture sounds so creative. None of my business, but I'd think he'd have quite an emotional investment in the "symbol." If not, (or if you really need money), I'd venture to say it's worth A LOT. Don't you remember how people were GRABBING pieces of things for "souvenirs?" I'm NOT making a moral judgment about anything. I honestly believe it would go @ an incredibly high price. If you decide to do so, be sure you go for tops. (It could also have great meaning to someone else from that sad & horrible experience.)

The best way to discover any item's true worth is to auction it on eBay.

Or have it appraised by a professional.

Good Luck....

I don't think the answer is how much is this worth, the answer should be why is price relevant to this? Selling it? Sheesh, check "tacky" in the dictionary. Skip that, make it "repugnant".

If you can provide proof of its authenticity, it could be valuable. If not, probably about worthless. I recommend just hanging on to this piece.
