are you applying for the job so you can get someone else employed or just your self? Hopefully you are trying to getyouself employed because that will be much easier. Ne wayz- you should get a resume together which highlights your skills and other traits that will make you a good fit for the job. Secondly apply for the job. If applying in person you dont have to dress up but wear somehting nice. You never know the boss may be around and you dont want to be seen with eye crispies still in your eyes. Also ask to speak to the manager, if possible when applying. so that they get to see your face. Third hope you get an interview, then be prepared to say why you would be good for the job. Hope this helps!

1) Give them honest feedback about their appearance- because appearance matters, and people delude themselves.

2) Boost their self esteem, even by trickery, because happy people are more likable, and likable people get hired more.

3) Push them to only apply for jobs that they are really qualified for- because it's demoralyzing to apply for a job that wont even call you.

Help them write their C.V.
Get them training to update their skills.
Show them where to go to find jobs, and interview techniques.
