It followed the book almost exactly, thank goodness!

The previews scared me at first, because it seemed like it was all about the imaginary 'Terabithia', but that consisted only of the last 15 minutes or so.

It has all the major plotlines of the book. (The made-up world, MayBelle and the other sisters, P.T., Leslie's *cough*end*cough*, the art teacher, everything)

It was really a good movie, and I'd suggest you see it if you liked the book! :)

The previews are not really anything like the actual movie. The previews show all this magical stuff but in reality, they only show about 10 minutes worth in the movie. Mostly it is about 2 kids just growing up. So if you want to see the movie like the book, it is great. If you want to see what is in the previews, you will be disappointed. I thought it was a good movie. Even my 6 year old liked it. I didn't think she would be able to sit through it!

I went with my 11yr old dd and we both loved it. I didn't take my younger kids because there are a couple of intense sequences and i knew my guys couldn't deal with it. I felt they stayed true to the book, though it's been so long since I read it I could be WAY off.

I took my daughters to see it last weekend and I cried like a baby :((...I loved it. I'll have to get the book for my older daughter to read. I haven't read the book so I can't make a comparison.
