Background:
I had just watched several episodes of 24: Season 3 with the weaponized virus on DVD. I have two daughters, 4 and 6. The 4-year-old has asked for eggs, sausage and grits for breakfast that morning and I was too busy, so I said no, just cereal.

Dream:
I dreamt that my 4-year-old got the virus in the show, was in lots of pain. Then she died and all I could think of was that I hadn't loved her enough to take 15 minutes to make her a nice breakfast. It was a vivid dream that I woke up hysterical and my husband had to calm me down and convince me it was a dream. I promptly crawled in bed with her and held her for the rest of the night.

Guess who got eggs, sausage and grits the next morning? LOL

I still have my worst nightmare (when I can sleep that is). Unfortunately for me it is of an event that really happened. Its of me trying to wake my partner and finding him not breathing. I try to revive him without success. I am suffering from PTSD so I do get the flashbacks during the day as well. It feels like its happening for real over and over again.

My other worst one is where I feel like someone is dragging me away and I can't move and I can't wake up. It feels real and very scarey especially as it feels like there is someone really there and you can't escape.

:-)))

When I was a small child I had a very scary dream about having to stand on a swinging metal plate, like a sewing machine treadle. It was on a bridge, swift water under that bridge that I could see in the holes on the plate. If I moved, I might lose my balance and drown.

I have this recurring dream about watching a man in a hedge beat a child with a stick!

Then he turns and looks at me & has those 'new labour new danger' eyes from the early 90's!!

I then wake up
