I few change if they sweat a lot and don't like the feeling. But top equipment to change would be gloves, and maybe socks. But socks means taking everything off and is a hassle.

Few change jerseys. In the NHL they probably have a spare, but I don't think it is common. The only time I have seen where in All Star games where all players changed their jersey each period so there were several game worn jerseys that could be autographed and sold.

I imagine that since the professional players of today, grew up through amateur, juniors, and college hockey wearing the same equipment in between periods, that it isn't that big of a deal to them. It is time consuming. In between periods is when the coaches evaluate and go over strategy. Their attention must solely be on the coaches, therefore, I don't think that would give them enough time for a costume change. If anyone does change their equipment there must be a reason for it, either it is uncomfortable, broken, or needs maintenance. They more than likely wear the same jersey too, unless it has blood on it, or is torn. These are grown men who play a hard-nosed game, I doubt they're concerned with how much sweat is on their jersey

It really depends on the player and the organization he plays for. I know some pros change some gear or jersey between periods because they don't like waiting around in wet/sweaty gear. If your in a garage league you tend to play with the same equipment all game.

Well im not sure if they change their equipment..i wouldnt think so though. But hey maybe some people do. A boy on my team liked to take off his shoulder pads and under armour and stay shirtless till the period started.

Between periods? No, there's no point - there's only 20 mins! Personally, after I'm done with a game, it takes me at least 7 or so minutes to take all my gear off, so it would be pointless to take it off and then put it back on.
