Women talk three times as much as men simply because they are more in tune with their emotions. Also, the part of the brain that is used to communicate is more developed, just as men's strategic skills are more developed.

I believe it's because women "bond" through talking - sharing past experiences and communicating ideas - while men "bond" through sharing accomplishments - hunting or fishing excursion, completing a challenging project, playing sports... etc.
There are, of course, exceptions to this everywhere; it's not a rule we need to live by for survival. But I believe that we are by nature wired very differently.

silly we have sOo much to say...I can talk your ear off..ohh & I want to thank you for answering my questions but why won't you accept my testimonial....& then you have the nerve to ask why we talk so much..it is a lovely day today & I am having a good day but some people piss me off sometimes ahh whatever I just ignore them & don't pay them much attention...that's what we have to do right?? umm..I just signed on & probably I will be here for the next few hours cuz I am so lame & god this thing is so addicting they should make a warning before you sign up with them..anyways I actually don't have much to say so I will end this now & hopefully it answered your question & made some things clear..ok bye....for now..

No..the question should be why is it so that men talk 3 times less than women?
The answer- I don't know, but I think it's because women have more to say & men don't know what to say.
