I have to go with Chili's. The last 2 Fridays I've been to have been horrible. (1 in NJ 1 in NC) I have never been disappointed with Chili's tho.

Well, lets see.

Applebees basically makes crappy food for crappy people. They are always one step behind TGIF and they never seem to catch up. They are just a wanna be TGIF with nothing special to offer. Why do you think there is NEVER a wait to get a table at Applebees?

I just recently started dining at Chilis and I like it. Its good for southwestern food. Havent had any complaints yet.

Ruby Tuesdays has absolutely no idea what they are trying to do. As someone mentioned before, everytime I visit they have a different menu with a different theme. Its quite sad, and dining there is hit or miss. The prices arent even worth the value of the food. I pretty much stopped dining here.

TGIF probably has the best food out of any of these chains, and for a decent price. Since I've been eating there they have had a pretty standard menu and it works for them. Only problem with TGIF is the wait. Its mostly always busy on weekends.

So, if I want really good food and am willing to wait, I'd choose TGIF.

If I dont want to wait I'd choose Chilis as my second option.

If I want to eat crappy food and dine with crappy people I'd go to Applebees :)

Applebee's for sure. Chili's is fun because the bar, but I've never had good service there. TGI Fridays...all that stuff on the walls turns me off. Ruby Tuesdays, the same reason. Applebee's has a fun bar and a good drink menu and the food is good. The staff is good there

I have to go with Ruby's. Applebees and T.G.I. just don't cut it for me and others. Chilli's is very good. But, for the most part, Ruby Tuesday's is much more consistant in their actual preparation, as far as I have experienced. Vegetables cooked nice and crisp.....the talapia is to die for. Even in and around Boston! Catch them on a good day like everyone else.

I like Applebees better because their menu has so many different choices. Unlike RT, they don't change their menu every month (seems like it anyway). I've tried so many items on their menu, and I've yet to be disappointed. Their food has so much flavor! I also like their portion size related to cost. TGIF has good drinks and appetizers, but I find their flavor lacking in their main courses. Chilis has great fried icecream, but that's it... also, there are not enough of them around. Most of the ones I see can't keep up with competition and close.

I think T.G.I. Friday's is the best they have great service well the ones in the Detroit Metro Area. They have the best selection of foods! They are all around a good American restaurant with commendable prices!

Ruby Tuesday's!
It's the best resturuant. I'm very picky about my food, and Ruby Tuesday's has everything I like.
One of my favorites from there is their (mild) boneless buffalo chicken strips.
