Well, it's been 48 days since my last cycle. I am feeling bloated, tired (exhausted!), and have had a couple of cravings. I am extremely moody and am breaking out. Sounds exactly like being pregnant, right? These are virtually the same symptoms I had with my son. The only problem? I have an IUD, and I took a preg. test about 3 days ago that showed neg. I also have a ton of crampy pain in my ovary/uterus area. The preg. test I did in the evening, not with first morning urine. Is it possible to have a tubal pregnancy, and not have it show on the test? Oh, and we don't have medical insurance yet, so it's not as easy as going to a doctor...

I've had a tubal pregnancy, and it does give a positive result on a pregnancy test.
Maybe you're stressed out, or maybe you are just late. Believe me, if you had a tubal, you'd know...it feels just like being pregnant, but you would feel it rupture.
You might have another problem, like ovarian cysts or endometriitis. Talk to a doctor...even if you have to go to a free clinic or the emergency room.

As far your orignal question, I have no idea. The only way to find out would be going to the doctor...if you have a Planned Parenthood in your area and are low income, often they will waive the fee for this kind of stuff.

I also had a friend who had what we know as an 'ectopic pregnancy' where the baby started growing in her fallopien tube. Get seen to as soon as possible as it is life threatening if the baby is not removed. It can certainly show up as a negative on a hpt as my friend experienced. I don'twant to worry you as there is the possibility it may not be that at all, but please see your doctor as soon as possible. Good Luck!
