Okay, we want to know how many balloons it would take to float a Jeep. A jeep specifically.

An 10-inch balloon should give about 0.02 lbs. of lift, so 50 of these balloons should lift 1 pound. If a car weighs 5,000 lbs., it would take about 50x5000, or 250,000 of these balloons to lift the car. A very large hot-air balloon might be able to do the trick, though, because they have less overall surface area.

The Jeep Gladiator weighs about 4,150 lbs., so I'll revise my estimate to 207,500 10-inch balloons.

I think it would just be easier to ship the car - don't you?

If you are talking about standard party balloons, I heard somewhere that it takes 14 of them to lift a pound. Consider a small car at 2000 lbs, that would be 28000 balloons.
