This girl named Kelsey is always bugging me when she sees me. I mean she follows me around and wants to do everything with me. It gets really annoying sometimes. One time i was having a party and my mom told her mom and Kelsey heard, and she just came. IT was so horible! I mean, she is nice but annoying. How can i tell her she is getting to clingy but not hurt her feelings.

You might regret what ever you do, she just might be a great friend if you start looking at her a little differently.

Or you can try and find her someone that needs a friend, that way no one gets hurt and two people benefit out of it.

It mostly depends on her age how to handle it. If she is a child and you are much older (she is 9, you are 16) you should tell here that grown up need time with other grown ups sometimes and you'll play with her another time.

If you are both teenagers around the same age. She may have a crush on you and doesn't know how to express it so she follows you around. The best thing to do is tell her that you need time with your other friends and try to not be around her too much.

If you are adults, tell her to grow up and stop following you around like a child.

No matter what you do so say - no matter how nice, her feeling will probably get hurt. But honesty is the best policy and she'll get over it and hopefully learn from the experience.

I hope some of the girls who are asking questions about catching a certain guy will read this. In regards to Kelsey, you have to politely tell her that she is nice and all but to leave you alone, because you have no intentions of having a girlfriend at this time in your life. Will her feelings be hurt? Most likely, but you either let her continue to avoid hurt feelings, or you need to tell her. It's up to you. If you're polite and understanding, then you have nothing to feel guilty over. How she deals with it is her concern.

you can't. you will inevitably hurt her feelings when you tell her the truth. lying is never a good thing...no man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar. that's an abe lincoln quote. know it, live it, never forget it. honesty is the best way all the way, and yes it hurts sometimes. tell her you just need some space. tell her you respect her intelligence enough to be honest with her, and that you know she'll appreciate that more than anything else. it'll hurt. but she'll get over it and realize she's been crowding you, since you never spoke up about it before. good luck.

Tell her you like being around her along with being her friend.
Tell her sometimes you may want to be alone or just hang out with other people also. I always mail out invitations to all my parties, and ask that my friends call me to let me know when they are dropping by to see me. Nothing personal against her. Please be kind to her because you may be the only person she feels she has to have a normal conversation with. I think she is wanting to be around you for some reason or she would not be around you!

There is no way to do it without hurting her feelings. But there is are good and bad ways.

DON'T: tell her to bug off over email, letters, phone calls, or telling your friend to do it.

Talk to her alone. Your friends might subconsciously make you say something mean. Just tell her you are just friends and you need your space.

I feel sorry for her already because I no what's coming it happened to me.I liked this boy all through Jr. high school but he didn't like me.I hung around him and his friends and after awhile his friends started to make fun of him because of me being around so much.If you don't want to hurt her feelings then keep doing what you have been doing. She knows you don't like her but only as a friend. She will fade away .

Try writing her a nice note but be careful and very choosey with your words. That way it won't hurt as much. She just has a crush on you that's all. Offer to be friends but nothing more. Tell her she is not your type, not to say that she isn't someone elses type but just not yours.

Tell her what you just told us. Try to be as nice and polite as possible, yet firm and direct at the same time. Make it clear that you want to be her friend, but not followed around.

Good luck to you.
