i am almost to level 5 - i have 32% best answer - yet my best answers are spread throughout many categories. how come Yahoo Answers doesn't consider me a 'top contributor?' i am well rounded and provide knowledge and insight into a variety of subjects. i feel it would be wasteful to restrict my answers to just one category. what should i do? do you think i should protest?

It depends on what category you are in, I'm not a top contributor in other catergories. I'm usually in P&S, so
I got a top contributor rating...

a top contributor is someone who is knowlegable in one specific category not throughout several. keep working on it though, you will get there. good luck.

I think the stupid little orange sign is distracting and annoying. It should actually say the person with most free time on their hands.

no it has to be all in one subject thingy...
so.. just answer alotof questions in say.. polls and surveys... or wat ever youre good at..
