What should you use to get chapstick washed into jeans out?

Chapstick is wax based. I would first use an ice cube to freeze it and scrape off any left over waxy residue. Then I would treat the spot with alcohol based hand sanitizer and wash with detergent in the hottest water possible (if you're not afraid of shrinking).

The hand sanitizer trick also works for ink.

get the chapstick moist then put shaving cream on it then rinse it out
