if you dream about someone it could mean you like the person
it's so-called wishful, compensatory dreaming

Only the dreamer can know what their own dream means. You can dream about someone because you like him but it can also be because you hate, fear, lust after or any other feeling. And it can be because in some way they symbolise something quite else. Last night I dreamt I was in a house I quit living in in 1986, with a cat who died in 1999. It doesn't really mean I have any present interest in that house or that cat.
