On Feb 17 and around that date I had intercourse with my husband. On March 27 I had a 3 day period which was very light. That's extremely odd for me. I have had a few other symptoms. I took a test the other day and it came back negative. Could I have taken it too early? Or is this just another case of hormones?

I suggest maybe to wait until your next cycle is due and see what happens....if it doesn't come, then do another hpt and see what the result is. In the meantime, take it easy and if you feel concerned that you wish to see a doctor, I recommend that too :)

sound like you may be preganet i did that when i was preganet took a test and showed up negative took one that next week and it was positive you need to wait at least three or 4 more days then take one

i think it is you hormones because you ovalute 2 weeks after your period and 2 weeks before your next period and u had sex like 3-4 weeks before your period came on so i seriously doubt it. believe me im 7 weeks

I would redcomend you either see your doctor or do another test
