When I'm confused, nothing in the world can make me understand.

No, because when you are confused, sometimes there is nothing that can make you understand. Hyperbole is a gross exaggeration. For example, if you say you have just had the best cup of coffee you've ever made (or your friend has ever made) that could be fact. But if you say you've just had the best cup of coffee that anyone, anywhere has ever made, that isn't a statement that can be backed up. Because someone, somewhere, may have made a cup of coffee that was as good as or better than yours, but as you haven't tasted every cup of coffee ever made, you can't truly make that comparison.
Another example:
When you smile, you make the whole world brighter.
Now that is obviously hyberbole, and outright flattery.
