You cannot make him "understand", because he is not capable of that. You should go to your GYN, and ask him about some helpful meds, of perhaps (like me) you do not like to go the pharmaceutical route, so i take what my doctor recommended, B6 and St John's Wort (it REALLY helps), I also take Evening Primrose oil and Black Cohosh. You have to make this better, or you will ruin your marriage and lose your mind. Hang in there. I suffered for many years, and in 2005, I had the endomitrial ablation, (no more periods) woohoo!

When your not PMSing, sit him downa nd talk to him about what it is like to be PMSign. Get some online information and show him the different things that happen to a woman when they hit that week before your period.

Men will never understand what a woman is going through just like we will never figure them out either. If I get mad at something and voice my opinion my husband always says (it must be that time of the month) Which angers me even more lol.

You probably are. Many women use that time of the month as an excuse to act like a bit**. Either take some midol and be nice or stay away from him.

you can't. I dont think men can ever understand completely what we women go through. they dont have hormones raging like we do and they certainly cant understand how we feel during that time of the month. Just tell him he doesn't go through what you do and therefor he cannot understand or pass judgment on what your feeling. Tell him until he has a period, he doesn't have to understand it, he has to accept it.

Try to control your attitude. I feel like absolute crap when I'm ragging! I know! I choose to be positive and not take it out on him though. It's not him being insensitive. Why does he have to totally understand? It's not that hard to control your attitude. Self control.

My husband is very good about getting me pain relief (naproxin or midol) when I'm stressing. He usually knows when it's coming and I just come straight home from work and relax. He takes care of his own dinner and lets me rest.
