Why is it that when I put my contacts on, on my right right eye, it starts to hurt/sting? The pain will be there for about 5 minutes; then go away, but it's soo irritating! I've had contacts for about 3 months now. & I've had this problem just recently. Is there something wrong?

Possibilities:
1) it's a defective/bad lens. get a new one.
2) residues: wash the contact very thoroughly in running saline solution. wash your eye out with eye drops. try again.
3) remember to throw out your old contacts and get new ones every three weeks or so.
4) try gently rotating the 'bad' contact in your eye. does the point where it hurts also move? then that's definitely a defective lens. i've had that happen before.

You might have a flaw in your contact, you'd just need a new pair then. Sometimes though, with contacts, a person's eye won't be able to adapt to the silicon in the lenses. It's like an elergic reaction, and the eye gets irritated and sore. After awhile, the contact can't sit comfortably on the eye and so it moves around on it and that's what might be making your eye sore. Change brands if you need to, because it's not just going to go away.

This has happened to me a few times. Regularly there is a small tear in the contact that sometimes cannot be seen. Replace it with a new right-eye contact and make sure you're putting it in the right kind of solution and you should be fine

I wear contacts, and the answer above mine is a good one. Also, remember to wash your hands very through before touching your contact and keep the solution changed. Probably you have a tear.

2 possibilities: Your eye is irritated and putting on the lens irritates it more, but then it settles in and acts as a "bandage lens".
Or, the lens is defective and is irritating your eye.
Either way,you need to stop your lens and see the dispensing doctor to evaluate the problem and fix it.
