What are the measurements of a 1971 Impala Steering column???

I need the measurements of a 1971 Impala coupe steering column. I am ordering an Ididit chrome column and need to know the length of the stock steering column so I can get the Ididit column the same as stock. I bought the car without the original column so I can't get the correct measurements from my column. Any help would be nice Thanx

The steering column is 1.250 inch Diameter by 32.250 inch long.
