1. Do not go out tonight. Eat a good dinner. Have quiet time.
2. Sleep early. Review some flash cards for some vocab refresher.
3. Close the door to your room. Make sure no one wakes you up.
4. Wake up early enough so that you have enough time to clean up and do what you need to do.
5. Wear comfortable clothes.
6. Eat a good breakfast. Not too hearty. Just enough so you won't be hungry during the test. Make sure you are hydrated.
7. Get to the test site approx. 15 minutes early so you can find your room and get comfortable.
8. Relax. Read the instructions thoroughly.
9. During the test, read the questions thoroughly. Don't miss any details. Especially with Reading Comprehension.
10. Don't be afraid to skip questions and come back to them later. The goal is to answer the most questions as accurately as possible.
11. Observe all rules set by proctors.
12. Remember to breath.

Have confidence, good attitudes are proven to increase perfromance.

Get good sleep, and eat before you go!

Review the types of questions you will be asked. Analyze questions for thinking skills you are required to use. This will help to understand what you are being asked to do or identify in each quesiton.

On test day, read your questions thoroughly! What are you being asked, how do you get to the answer, etc? You know standardized testing is designed to test you in thinking skills, not just content!!!

Use your test taking skills:
Think of an answer before you read your options (multiple choice). Go with your first answer, if it makes logical sense. Don't change too many answers!!!

If you aren't sure of an answer use process of elimination. If you are still unsure, come back to the question later. Pace yourself, don't spend too much time on one question. Remember your score is reduced for each missed question. Taking too much time on one question may make you miss five because you run out of time.

Based on this question, you may be a little stressed! Don't sweat it, you can try again if you score low!!!
