what I understand, is that your USB Port is broken on your laptop computer. If this is the case, you may have to change the mother board.
let me know what's your laptop brand and model and i will tell
you how much it is for a used mother board.

lol to a previous answerer. You can't add a usb mini hub if the usb slot is broken. Now back to the question contact your manufacturer if you're still within warranty they will do it for free, otherwise it will cost you.

Other than replacing the motherboard, you could simply buy a PCMCIA usb card to install in the PCCard slot.

Use tweezers to remove the broken slot.
