Data plans for cell phone 2mb?

If I have a 2mb data plan on my cell what does it mean? I know I can surf the web from my plan, I do not want to read emails or anything like that. I just want to check out some websites once in a while. How fast is my 2mb going to run out?

if you useing high image websites to browse then its going to spent 2mb in the 10 min. But if you choose the text only option in the phone settings or browser settings then its increasing your data limits.
