Anything is possible. Just make sure to keep your hands virtually clean and you should be fine. I heard a rumor that even the Pope caught the bird flu ~ from a Cardinal, I suppose. Looks like he forgot to wash thoroughly after petting and playing.

Yes. You can. Go get vaccinated now. Save yourself the pain of going through a disease that is non-transferable to humans at this point. Especially from an avatar. That's just deadly.

No, because you are only being exposed to a very miniscule dose of the avian flu. It is actually helping you to build an immunity, kinda like a vaccine.
