The coverof magazines on newsstands are not the same as the cover subscribers receive. I'm not talking about the picture....I mean the material: hard and glossy.

Yeah!!!! I've noticed that too but im not really sure why there's a difference?.......maybe so they can charge you less money for a subscription by spending less money on the cover??

They have to pay for postage so we get better rates by mail and by subscribing to a magazine, but the cost is differed by mailing cheaper magazines. It's is not much of a difference to me, I feel that I get a better rate through the mail. I just read it and pass it on or toss it -but we save money by subscribing.
