Of course not; I'd use my psychic powers to warn me that a song about saving the environment was about to play, then I'd puncture my own eardrums so that I couldn't hear it.

Seriously, you can write a good song about any subject, if you're talented enough. If you're not talented, any subject you choose will result in a stupid song. I'd listen to the song if it were good, but a "message" song has to be done carefully or else it sounds preachy.

Of course. It'd be a whole hell of a lot better to listen to a song about conserving the environment than one about depressing subjects like "she done me wrong"

Maybe if a death metal band put out an environmental song, that would be weird though
