if so, what have you stored and for how long can you last with it?

Yes, we do. My husband was a cook in a large institution before he retired. Therefore, he tends to buy things in large quanities. If something goes on sale, he buys some.

Never mind that we live in a mobile home with limited storage. *sigh* It seems that every time we get enough space so I can put all the stuff on shelves instead of stacking the cans and boxes on the floor... he takes that as a signal that means he needs to buy more. Sheesh!

We have canned veggies and soups and fruits. Frozen veggies and meats and french toast and pancakes and waffles that you can heat in the toaster. Tons of cereals and crackers. Many cake mixes and canned frosting mix. Cookies and dinner roles. Lots of bread.

Lots and lots of frozen meats, mostly beef, a little pork.

We have several large packs of toilet paper and paper towels, and long packs of napkins.

I'd say we could live easily for 9 or 10 months. If we're a bit careful, last a year.
