T-mac for sure, they were running offense thru tmac when yao was out and look at how much better they played, yao is good role player, but i do not think he will ever be number 1 option for any nba team

I gotta go with Yao.
Since coming into the league he has developed a game he didn't have initally. Hook, face up moves and can hit the short range jumper. Most big men can't do all that. Plus,. his hiehgt makes him an instant mis match. Additionally, if teams double team him(and they do) he can easily find the open man.
T-Mac is still money, but there alot of 6'7" players in the league. Some of which can cover the streaky T-Mac.

I would say T-Mac. He can create his own shot. Where Yoa is a one demoniacal play. Drop step with a baby hook. He will maybe shoot a Ten Footer every once in a while. His conditioning is bad. T-Mac can do it all post up, shoot the out side shot and create offense with out the ball. There is no one else on the floor for the rockets that can produce points on a Regular bases like T-Mac

if i can decide that my first option will be yao becouse he is too tall he is too clever and he is too talented.
He can make low post moves, he can make mid range shots, and also if he misses the shot he can rebound his shot, if teams make double team on yao he can pass the ball for an open 3 pointers

depends who their playing, the advantage of having 2 scorers is you can play the matchup, Yao when they're playing against a team with no defensive big man- T Mac when they're playing Shaq for example....

All you have to do is check the record and see that T-Mac should be the go to guy and both of them should work in sync especially if the Rockets expect to win.

I would go with Yao. It's a higher percentage shot if your shooting nearer to the basket.

T-Mac Yao is too limited in his movement. T-Mac can do it all.
