I was watching the Tyra show recently and the episode was about a place called Bunny Ranch in Vegas that is mainly for prostitution. Do you think that prostitution should be illegal in Vegas or made legal nationwide. I know these girls choose to make a career out of this and many men enjoy it, but it is so dangerous and scary. Why is something so scary and un-classy legal in the United States? And why only in Vegas, why wouldnt they just make it illegal there, it would also decrease the diseases that people are cathcing and passing along. Im just confused on why Vegas is treated so different than in other parts of the country. Thank you.

good Q!!

it might as well be legal everywhere, with obvious regulations regarding safety, location, etc.....that is because prostitution IS happening all over the country/planet anyway. it always has and always will. it's not a happy fact, but none the less true.

Well, first of all, prostitution comes under local or state laws.
I see nothing wrong with it, personally. I don't know what you are talking about though as far as being "dangerous', what's dangerous about it? And, yes, I think it should be legal nationwide. People do it all the time anyway.

And as to your concern about diseases, the women that work there see a doctor on a regular basis. Protection is used, always. What I find a little funny in your question is, when you talk about diseases being passed along. So what you are saying is that prostitution shouldn't be legal because these same men will pass it it along? So the "free will" sexual society is OK with you but the pay as you go isn't. That must be what you are saying otherwise how would it be passed along?

Prostitution is wide spread in our country, always has been, and always will be. Which, of course, is why it is known as the world oldest profession.

Each state makes it's own laws. Prostitution should be legalized everywhere, that way it could be controlled, and taxed. The girls in Vegas must go and have a check up, every month or so, or they can't work, and they also make sure the men ware protection. If Prostitution was legalized it would bring down the crime rate, and aids rates by far, and boost the coffer's of the USA. Maybe lower everyone's TAXS!

Women (and men for that matter) will be prostitutes whether it's legal or not. If it's legal then at least you can ensure the prostitute you are sleeping with is required to be checked out for STDs and stuff. And the state can tax the hell out of it cause they can justify sin taxes. So I think legalization is a way to make an inevitable trade safer.

I haven't been to a house of ill repute in Las Vegas, but I am sure they practice safe sex and the board of health requires the girls be checked regularly for communicable diseases.

Since prostitution goes on everywhere else, even though it is not legal, it might be a good idea to legalize it, regulate it and tax it.

Prostitution is prohibited in Clark County the place Las Vegas is placed and in Washoe County the place Reno is placed. it particularly is state regulation that observed if the inhabitants is over 250,000 prostitution is prohibited. In different counties it particularly is as much as the vote of the electorate. the closest legal bordello to Vegas is in Pahrump, Nye County, an hourpersistent away

Legalize it, tax it, regulate it. I think it would be a lot safer for the prostitutes themselves, as well as their clients, if prostitution was legal everywhere. The same goes for drugs such as marijuana. Think of all the people that we pay for in prison for being a prostitute, paying for sex, or using marijuana. Instead of paying for those people in prison, the government could make those things legal everywhere and tax them, thus generating money rather than losing it.

Prostitution is not legal in Las Vegas, because it is not legal in Clark County. It is only legal in certain counties.
