Between 2 and 3 weeks for light foot traffic depending on soil condition, and how often you water. Then about 2 to 3 weeks after that for more heavy use.

Depends on soil temperature. The 2-3 weeks is for ideal soil temp. Sod laid in winter and early spring will take longer and the soil is probably cold......not always. Microclimates will figure into this. Heavy foot traffic............plan on month or more....depending on soil temp and growing condition. Remember, not only does the sod need to knit to the soil, the seams have to fill in.
