You are content with people not knowing who you are. You wish to remain anonymous. You would like for the quality of your answer to be the thing that is looked at, rather than what your avatar looks like. So to sum it up, you don't want to be judged for your picture, but for your answers, which IS what this site is about.

From what you just said, I would conclude that you are perfectly content without an avatar. Why would I conclude anything else?
On the other hand I could think that you are saying this to defend the real truth, which is that you are insecure and don't want an avatar that might give some one a negative conotation about you....whatever! That would really be putting something that isn't there, there wouldn't it?!!!!! But many people do this. I am going to take you at face-value, though and say that............................................
You are perfectly content without and avatar. PERIOD

I could conclude that this whole avatar business is a matter of complete indifference to you. It is for me, as I do not even know how to get an avatar and have no interest in finding out. Of course, I am a schizoid personality type, too. That has a lot to do with it, because, much of what people do does not even occur to me.

Okay, just by your wording it sounds as if you are perfectly content with yourself and not ranting some mumbo-jumbo about wanting to hide your true self. ^^ BS.
I think, and this is the reason I don't have an avatar, is A.) I don't feel like going through all the trouble of customizing it
B.) They don't have the customization right all
C.) The avatars are not diversified accept to show skin color, but not--of course--body type
Other reasons: Why the hell should I have one? What is an avatar going to give to me or show me or tell me about myself that I don't already know? And why is it that we HAVE to show our "avatars" to the outside world? What is that avatar going to do to help our popularity on Yahoo? Frankly, it's stupid to suggest that someone is ashamed of themselves merely because they aren't showing a pixelated version of themselves on the internet because that's just it right? We're ashamed of ourselves because we don't have pixels.
Good question, man. Ver ygood question. :)

You prefer to remain completely anonymous. You feel that an avatar however obscure looking will somehow resemble you. You wish to leave as few clues as to who you are as possible.
However - I could be completely wrong!

OK you asked.. You are perfectly comfortable with an NOTHING or because you are hinding behind an anon persona with an avatar... I use my real picture..
Hey its up to you.. I dont really care with people that want to hide for what ever reason behind avatars on not or etc..... its just I dont take them very seriously.. (why would I? Would you? I think NOT)
My conclusion?? You have something to hide (and perhaps you have every reason to hide.. Most people prob do.. I just dont).. and you may have a reason for that.. I dunno (nor care thats your call not mine) but thats what it tells me..
But dont expect me to take you seriously...

That you are not entirely comfortable with who you are, and your physical appearance. You may try to conceal that fact from yourself however deep down in your subconscious mind you fear the judgment that can come from revealing your true self, your identity.
But it is this that makes you a unique individual and what people think about you is nothing compared to what you think about yourself.

You may be insecure, or you do not want to get close to people. Maybe you have no personality.
